ABOUT US:
The A.I.R.R team comprises a group of four diverse students who are presently studying at the University of New England in Armidale. Jye Blackman, Kiki, Jackson Hall, and Kate Blair-Hickman possess a strong vision for innovation and fresh ideas in the renewable energy sector. With the renewable energy industry growing at a rapid pace, the need for more workers and training opportunities is becoming increasingly urgent. Armidale is set to house 3/4 of the power generated by renewables in NSW, making it a crucial hub for the renewable energy industry.
Their start-up, A.I.R.R (Australian Innovation of Renewable Resources), is an app that aims to address the issues of worker shortage, training, accommodation, community, and communication. Investing in this start-up is an opportunity to be a part of a movement towards a more sustainable future and support the development of innovative solutions to the challenges we face.
The concept behind A.I.R.R was conceptualized at the EPIC challenge, hosted by SRI in Armidale. The team won a prize of $4000, which they have used to organize an event to bring together community members, industry specialists, and key contacts to find a solution to the challenges that Armidale will soon face. More details about the event can be found under the events tab.
In essence, A.I.R.R is an outstanding example of the power of innovation and collaboration in tackling some of the most significant challenges of our time. The app represents the team's passion and dedication towards the renewable sector and has the potential to make a real difference in the lives of many people. We are excited to see what the future holds for A.I.R.R.
